Welcome to SMU!!

I think with Graham leaving we might steal a few commit's from Tulsa.

losing Graham will have a devastating effect on the Tulsa program. Three Tulsa assistants left as well including another young protegee of Graham at West Virgina and Tulsa who is thought to be a great recruiter. Ace Recruiters are tough to replace. Has SMU recruiting really been the same since we lost that former UT player who coached here after he first went to UH and now is on the UT staff.

I love our conference mates but we had better be contacting every kid thinking of Tulsa.

BTW Oscar Giles is the coach I was thinking about. Rivals credits Giles with 5 of UTs commits this year including 1 5 star(Eddie Jones-the Nation's No. 2 DLM) and 3 4 stars.

Oscar Giles is a coach at UTexas, and Eddie Jones is committed to UTexas, so I am asssuming UTexas and not UTulsa, who prefers to be called TU.

Sowe is an undersized DE at Denton HS. He was mentioned in a thread somewhere down below, where he was interviewed about a DHS game and identified only as a guy who "has committed to SMU" -- although it didn't say whether he is going to be a scholarship guy or if he's simply a committed walk-on. The only report I found on him (which, of course, I can't find now -- sorry), has him listed at 6-1, 190. A recent rumor has him up to 6-2, 215 or 220 and clocked at 4.5. No matter how strong he is, I'd think at that size that he's much better-suited to playing OLB than DE. But again, I don't know if he's a scholarship commitment or a committed walk-on.

And hot chicks.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Stallion,

I have always liked Oscar Giles. With that said, it is much different recruiting to UT than SMU at this point in time. Oscar has not recruited for SMU for several seasons.

Please give me any names of contributing players on SMU's team who were recruited by Coach Giles. I can think of Michael Benson, Bey, James...but I am looking for contributors. Any come to mind?
