That is why I hammered at Baylor for so long, even when I was not sure if anyone cared — it’s assault. It’s rape. It’s corruption. It’s negligence. This is considerably worse than the SMU scandal that led to the Death Penalty in 1987. This one is the worst.

Hansen was interviewed by the local radio station here....he is now playing the "elder statesman" card of "journalistic integrity" involving sports scandals at colleges. He of course mentions his starring role in the 1986-7 SMU case, and said that the Baylor case is troubling because it was a set of criminal acts as opposed to simple "greed".
Seems Warhol was a bit off. Some people get more than 15 minutes.
stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Back in the fall of 1988, Hansen told viewers on WFAA8's 10 p.m. newscast about actress Robin Givens' statement that her marriage to boxer Mike Tyson had been "torture" and "pure hell."
He then couldn't resist adding, "Now if my wife said that about me on national TV, I'd slap her upside the head, too."

Ped St. knocked SMU outa No. 1 way before Baylor. Ped St. is STILL No. 1, in fact.
(BTW, if you think UT/OU footballers haven't taken girls "too far", you're dreamin'.)
Hey remember covering up intra-team murder at Baylor a decade ago? Yeah, much less serious than handfuls of cash amounting to ~ the price of a Corvette.
