OK. Here is my stupidity here. Looking at the sight, it looks as though tickets prices are all over the place for each night depending on where I want to sit. Then it makes my life difficult about where to sit. Any thoughts from anyone?

Don't know if it will be the same but when my friends and I went to Vegas this year we just grabbed seats wherever we wanted. I think I'll get some insurance with some $75 dollars per day tickets and see if I can move to better seats when I'm there.Terry Webster wrote:OK. Here is my stupidity here. Edit: Just talked to SMU ticket office, they said they will have package tickets for sale coming soon. I'll probably wait for that so I can sit by some fellow mustangs

Buy them from SMU.

Don't be a tool. Buy them from your school.

The Garden is a big arena and it isn't going to sell out for our games. At the NIT, the entire upper deck was empty. EDIT - they are not even trying to sell upper deck seats on TicketmasterTerry Webster wrote:OK. Here is my stupidity here. Even if they manage to sell an enormous amount of tickets, many of them will go to NYC corporations looking to entertain clients. Typically, the corporations end up with "Season" tickets and dump extra games on StubHub. Since SMU won't be the big draw -> StubHub pricing for our games shouldn't be bad.
When SMU played in the NIT, the "School" tickets were behind our bench. They were expensive and in the corner.
For significantly less money, we were able to buy tickets near midcourt about 3/4 of the way up the lower bowl. We were surrounded by Mustang fans.
Do unto others before they do unto you!!

Yes. Those are very good seats. But if you want you can go courtside for 500/ticket/ night.

I just want to pass along this gem of a hotel I found in Manhattan just a few blocks from The Garden:
http://www.lesoleilhotels.com/new-york/mobile/
I'm in the city overnight roughly two dozen nights per year on business and it's usually last minute so I almost always "Hotel Tonight" my reservation for substantial savings. As a result I stay at alot of different
four star range joints, usually from midtown-down.
Le SOLEIL was spotless and the staff was amazingly hospitable to the g/f and I. The south view from the upper floors is awesome: a clear shot of the Freedom Tower all the way from 36th street. That's rare. You also have the empire state building just to your left. There is a great little espresso place attached.
We had an upper floor queen room and it was super quiet. The bed was really comfortable
The only knock was the room size. If you were (or are) offensive line sized it's gonna be tight in there. It's small, even for a NY hotel room. You can upgrade to a larger room.
I highly recommend this place and am going to book here for November.

I just thought i'd throw this up here.. open for a few months now. I made my first visit last night. The tequila and mezcal selection is first rate... The cocktails superb. I sip mine neat.... the filly loves the crafted cocktails but inevitably ends up sipping as well. Last night was an arteNOM AND an Ocho night.
The fish tacos were as good as I've had anywhere but Montauk.
Temerario is not far from the Garden and worthy of a pre-game lube or post game throwdown.

- Fly home Saturday (11/19) afternoon for $94 (or Sunday for $92)
