Update: Rivals no longer lists SMU as a school of interest with Haugabook. It repeats SMU has been his only offer but then says he's looking at Louisiana Tech, Marshall or Ohio. Could be either he never was offered, he waited to long to commit or he wasn't admitted to SMU after a conditional offer.

It is definitely a little dreaming on my part, however, info on Haugabook mentioned a visit to LT and no offers. Perhaps, with Danna committing to LT, Haugabook opens it back up for us to step in...provided we can get him into school and all.

too many teams have backed off. That's smoke-the fire is usually a transcript, grade or curiculm problem. Same may be going on with Marcus Johnson of Cisco JC since there has been essentially no news on that front. He has excelled at too many levels not to get some interest-either that or he is secretly committed and will show up on some list tommorrow.

True...it will all be revealed tomorrow. Just wierd about Haugabook that he seems genuinely confused as to why there isn't more interest in him...

If Omar Haugabook wants to play football after college he will stick with his verbal to Marshall. Just ask Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwich if they made the right decision to play for Marshall. Better than that look at there bank statements. $$$$$$$$$$ It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

if you're an 18-22 year old kid, seeing 2 QB's from one school w/ starting jobs (when healthy) in the NFL does make it a QB factory. are there any other schools w/ 2 ACTIVE STARTING QB's in the NFL? I can't think of any off the top of my head, but i'm not thinking about it too hard.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I think SMU has put more QBs into other Universities than any other school.

Kyle Orton (part-time starter) and Drew Brees went to Purdue.
David Carr and Trent Dilfer (part-time starter) went to Fresno State.
J.P. Losman and (one-time starter) Patrick Ramsey went to Tulane.
That's it -- I officially need a life.
