Shannon was 6'3" 200 when he declaring for the NBA draft as a junior. Assuming the pounds aren't Tex-Mex I think he'll be fine. Sterling has never given us a reason to doubt him. Still one of the most underrated players in any sport since I've followed SMU sports.

Froling is a big ole boy at 6'11", 260, hope he can move and gets in shape. Love seeing Whitt on the roster already, he will help by practicing with the team for sure. Will be a very interesting season . . . with no Nic.

Ojai, you're right. It is going to be very strange not having Nic out there, MK too. We've never had an elite level team in this era without one or both of these guys on the floor. Really the only time I felt uncomfortable watching SMU over the past three years was when Nic wasn't on the floor. Those are some very big shoes to fill - back-to-back AAC POY.

In person, Dashawn looks physically more developed and mature than most freshmen I can remember.

Fro notwithstanding, when our guys are standing shoulder to shoulder, it looks like we thought it would..everyone 6'5/6'6, two guys taller and a 6'2 or so whitt.
