I had heard last year it was 750k to break into the top 125 - so he would be pretty close to that after this weekend I would think.

current # 125 has already earned over $600k whereas Bryson has earned $445k and has limited opportunities. He might have to win an event to crack the top 125 by season's end, or at least have a top 2 or 3 finish. May have to earn a spot at Q school or via Web.com tour as Colt did. No substitute for experience

His best finishes have come when he has a long time to study and prepare. That's not a luxury you get as a rookie and why doing what Jordan did is nearly impossible.

He is at or very near the level of temporary card - which will mean unlimited exemptions for the rest of the year. If he gets that I think he will get his card this year pretty easily.

Unlimited exemptions still makes it tough to play in a lot of tournaments. Ask Kelly. But still...you can do it!

Great. He was 1 over on the back nine last I had checked. Big deal if he is able to make the cut. He was 3 or 4 over at one point.

still at minus one thru 8 holes of 3rd round. There's a reason they call Saturday "moving day". Bryson needs to make some birdies and move up that leaderboard if he wants to make a decent check this week. Currently at T-59 which would at least mean he plays Sunday

4 over today through 15 holes to fall to plus 3 for the tourney and sinking fast on the leaderboard. Oh well, at least he made the cut and will earn a check.

Bryson back in action this week at The Travelers (along with Colt & Kelly) and fires a 2 over 72 opening round. Will need to go low tomorrow to have any chance of making the cut here.

Bryson is even par at the Travelers today and still plus 2 for the tourney at the turn. Had to go 3 under on back side to make the cut
