Tom Dundon
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire AlumnI'd like to run up a billion dollars worth of debt
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire AlumnThe DMN ran an article a couple of years ago that said SMU had more billionaire law school graduates than any other school.
So I don't understand why we only have 3 now, unless some dropped off.
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire Alumn
SMU has five from the law school alone, so this this is just for the undergrad. http://www.forbes.com/sites/chasewithor ... f6e8c96512 Undergrad Billionaires: Ray L. Hunt, Oilman Gerald J. The law extends even to business interests? In any case, Forbes says he is worth about $1.55 Billion, so she would be worth about $0.775 billion. “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”

Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire Alumnthis article is not close to accurate
UT has Dell, Moncrief, McCombs, Moulay Abdallah ben Ali Alaoui, Jeffery Hildebrand, David Geffen, Hicks and probably several others as well
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire AlumnHicks is not a billionaire. Doubt geffen is either.
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire AlumnHildebrand probably tumbled out of billionaire status with oil at $45. McCombs was never a billionaire.
Dell is. Moncrief could be but is also oil patch wealth. Pony 81
Re: Top 28 American Colleges With The Most Billionaire Alumn
Moulay Abdallah ben Ali Alaoui is not a billionaire either. Not sure how the article is defining 'alumni'; but David Geffen and Michael Dell did not earn their degrees from there. Yes, the schools count the, not sure the criteria the article is using. I think they are considering only those with degrees. "Penn has more billionaires among its alumni than any other university in the United States. 21 current billionaires have undergraduate or graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania." “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
