Only time will tell. Still confident we can win a NCAA tournament game, which of course we still haven't seen. Getting to Louisville was fun, winning next time would be even more fun.

will be interesting to see what LB does. No doubt someone will hire him, but SMU was a dang good fit for him. Doubt he wants to finish his career at a Utep or UNT type place. If he is not coaching next year, I sure hope we bring him to Moody for a large ovation from the fans. As imperfect as his decisions may be, still a good guy by all accounts.

He should be there when we retire Nic's jersey!

I agree. And hopefully they will retire his jersey and Butch Moore's too.

it would have been nice if the refs hadn't robbed us of the ncaa tournament ucla game.
not to mention the ncaa tournament in his second year when we got robbed of an ncaa invitation.

We hired Jankovic for just this type of situation. Larry has left more jobs than Donald has left wives. Fortunately, we put Jank in a coach in waiting. Imagine if LB had pulled this and we had to go out and find a good coach in the middle of July? My main concern is the chatter that there may be another shoe about to drop from the NCAA whether its APR or LIC, or usual BS as the cause. If that's the case, we may plunge back into irrelevancy pretty quick no matter who is at the helm.

Since there are not likely to be any good new jobs for the coming season -Larry would be 77 before the start of the 2017-2018 Basketball Season if he was able to find a new job
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

LOL at Larry needing to prove something to get an extension. He literally turned [deleted] into gold here so I don't think he needed to prove anything else.

"[deleted] into gold"

For 20 months, Turner couldn't figure out an extension for the best thing to EVER happen to SMU basketball, so Larry finally just said FU!

RIP SMU basketball. SMU basketball and Baylor football now on the same trajectory. Both fine this year because of existing talent, but straight down from there as recruiting goes in the toilet.

Now there's some intelligent analysis....
