Seems a little far fetched that ut would need to completely sabotage baylor to compete.
Seems more likely that they decided they'd be able to get on the field earlier, live in a better city, go to what id assume is a better school (haven't fact checked that, I've just been lead to understand baylor isn't top notch), and play in essentially the same offense anyway. Lots of selling points

Didn't Baylor do itself in? I mean let's not give the Longhorn credit for something it did not do.

Could you blame these kids for going to Texas? It's 90 minutes away. Incredible recruiting class coming in. Austin is paradise compared to Waco. And DKR makes the rape stadium look exactly like what it is, a toilet.
