I am with you; we have a long, long way to go. Good news is that I can see talent and speed even though it is young and inexperienced. UNT is not a good team and we did not totally out play them. We will get better; however, this will still be a long season.

I felt depth, athleticism, intensity and complexity were better than last year. Still have areas to improve. D seem to be to generous at times. WE had huge big plays but lack consistency on O to sustain drives. Overall better than last year.

I'll take this win. Final score doesn't really reflect how big of a dominating effort it was and keep in mind guys that we already went deep into our depth in some key positions for this game (not in a concerning way) so the results were good given that tidbit of news. I also think UNT is really bad and we should have had a bit more to show for it but hey, they did try pretty hard against us.

Erase this win from our memory and move on to the next one. I've seen great teams struggle and hiccup here and there and end up winning championships (Ohio State lost a dud to a bad VT team and won the national championship). We have what it takes to beat TCU and Baylor, unfortunately we have to play a perfect game without errors or injuries and have a bit of luck on our side. Crazy stuff happens.
