He has to learn to slide. He isn't a running back and we don't need him running like one. Take the slide and survive. Oh, and don't let Garrett Gilbert teach him how to slide.

Just got home from the game wanting an update on Matt.

Looked bad at first, trainers ran out quickly, teammates gathered around him, and he laid there for a long time...but he did get up and walked off the field with just a very slight limp.

Fingers crossed he is OK.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Don't wish anything bad on Davis, but he can't pass from the pocket and run the offense. He can basically throw fly patterns and run. You saw the unt def adjust and stop him from running and ending his effectiveness Ben is the better QB and should start.

I am sure I will hear too soon, but this is just business. Ben can throw with authority and this team needs that quality to take th next step.

It's not too soon, we all knew his playing style was bound to get him hurt. At this point there's just no hope that he's ever going to become an adequate passer.

I would rather have Davis over Harris at LSU. Davis has better talent, judgement and is coachable. Harris is less than one dimensional.

Anyone have an update on this? Seems like they should know something by now.

The fact he walked off on his own doesnt tell us much. Plenty of guys who have suffered season ending knee injuries have walked off on it right after the play

If the knee had considerable swelling, they often wait until it itnsubsides to get a more accurate assessment.

Everything out there seems really bad. I hope its all wrong as well, but there is a very good possibility that was his last game.
