Big play by your kid. Tell him he did good.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
UNT people are pretty nice for the most part. They too suffer from fans who just don't give a **** about their teams just like us. Both schools have been generations removed from true football winners. This out of conference series isn't doing much to build fans and interest like I thought it might.

The attendance the last two years has been encouraging considering how lousy both teams have been.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Thanks mrydel. Looked like he fought hard. Had to get an ivee for cramps but returned. Not much beats watching your son sing varsity with a smile on his face on the road.
HF, I agree. I was impressed with their tailgating setup and the UNT people could not have been nicer. I had a great time and was treated very well. Also, as mrydel pointed out, great catch and run by MK. That was a big play.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four 2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Stadium was well thought out. Wish there were some TV's in concourse.
YEAH - Mustang Club - Nice tent and good beverage selection - I think a bunch of people did not RSVP as the place was packed.
SMU crowd. Don't know the number but the unt people said we brought a lot of fans. There was a ton of red and blue around and two sections full on the other side.
As for the hat - I had 8 to 12 people - no specific count - tap my shoulder or stop me to say how they like the hat. Had one guy say to his son... He may be wearing smu colors but you got to like the hat. Kid was 9 to 10 I would guess.
Oh, final point. my wife went down for a couple drinks and a unt shirted person paid for the water and a beer. That was unexpected and very sweet.
Nice big open air concourse in the Stadium-I wonder if it was designed so that the Concourse could be covered in future. They need to blow up that Eagles Wing End Zone. Someone was high on narcotics when they came up with that abomination

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
24,000-25,000 with little travel expense are good paydays for these schools (who have about 4 wins between them) -and that's why these games will likely continue.

SMU was well-represented IMO considering various factors. 124 and 125 were packed and you could see a good amount of red/blue on the home side of the stadium too.
Multiple UNT fans came up to us with congratulations after the game.
