Tech getting nervous?

There are a lot of rumors that the two QBs committed to Texas Tech -- Greg McElroy and Taylor Potts -- are looking around and might switch their commitments. Therefore, Tech is getting in the hunt for FW North Crowley QB Jeff Panfil.

These promising QB's look at the Tech program and see:

[1] great wide-open attack (the glass half full);

[2] Jr or Sr before you see the field (the glass half empty).

Perhaps these guys will weigh standing in line vs. getting on the field sooner (somewhere else).

Hopefully, they'll all de-commit since Leach is such an [deleted].

Don't forget that 3) They have a really good young QB who took some snaps in the Cotton Bowl and 4) They will go out and get a JUCO QB if they haven't already to bring experience in.

I suspect that is why those QBs are looking around.
