A lot of it was on mistakes by SMU. We effectively were beating ourselves for the most part.

Our guys played a heck of a game. Mistakes and turnovers. Wish we had them towards the end of the season. SMU got worn down as we all figured they would.

Go back to our prediction page and you will see we played better than expectation. Way better than all of us thought.

Mistakes and turnovers. Exactly. The last 10 years against Baylor or A&M we were completely physically and athletically overmatched. This was the first time we showed up physically and athletically. Our youth cost us a chance to win.2 red zone FG and 2 red zone picks and a pick 6 INT is why we lost the game. Period.
