With Davis on the field, the team is easily good enough to make a serious run at a bowl game.

The thing about Hicks is sometimes he can be right on target and other times he can be way off.

I am not saying BH was like Bo Levi Mitchell when he played at SMU but I do believe the receivers could be getting a little frustrated. But things can always improve. Beat TCU.

He is mostly accurate on seam routes where he can step into the throw and launch it.

There is something wrong mechanically with his throws. When he puts touch on a ball, it is way underthrown or a balloon - reference the Sutton INT last night as well as another pass he tried to put touch to a sideline and it allowed the DB to recover and tip the ball away.

He also doesn't believe in his arm strength on throws to the perimeter. He tries to launch it as hard as he can and again his mechanics mess up and it is all over the place - high, low, left, right.

Very interesting thing I noticed last night was that when he rolls out, he is VERY accurate with his throws. I think it takes the pressure off making a hard throw to the boundary, or maybe the difficulty forces him to concentrate on mechanics. I expect to see them move the pocket quite a bit from here on out.
