What do you mean by that? Are you saying that SMU will be blowing most of their opponents out.

Jeez dude.

He's saying that it's probably a good year for us to suck on special teams, since we're not competitive this year.

Liberty is well coached and played balls to the wall.
Great game from West, 24 carries, 220 yards and ZERO fumbles.
Alex Honey still waiting on first catch of the year.
Kevin Thomas, zero catches this season, even though they keep trying to get him involved. Post game celebration photos-show Kevin with sour look on his face...keep an eye on this.
Good to see Xavier Castille have a break out game.
Hicks was getting immediate pressure, tackles continue to be weak link.
Bryce Wilds continues to get more playing time at RT.
Colbert is an idiot.
Precarious situation at QB, with Hicks being only scholly player available.
In all three games Ben Hicks has balls sail on him---small hands?
You have to question his arm strength, passes take forever on out patterns...BU pick 6.
His passes often flutter, no tight spirals here.
Hicks seems pretty beat up, very slow to get up numerous times and appeared to be in pain.
If he continues to be an interception machine--it will be gruesome against TCU.
Jeremiah Gaines had his first 2 receptions of the season.
We were spoiled on kickoffs last year, with Hedland gone, our kick coverage was exposed last night. We better shore that up quick...with TCU's speed merchants coming to town.
I'm happy with Jamie Sackville's punting so far, the english on his kicks will result in some fumbles.
When it was crucial, Josh Williams missed a 30 yard field goal. He made one later, when the pressure wasn't as great.
Impressed with the overall defensive improvement.
Very little pass pressure from the front 4.
Zelt Minor and Deon Green are noticeably improved from last season.
With Nick Horton injured, Badejo got the start and played well.
My boy Jordan Wyatt continues to impress.
Miserably hot!!!

Good job on the quick hits.

actually, I thought the last FG Williams made was the crucial one and there was considerable pressure at that point

Was anyone there during pregame warmups, I wonder who the backup QB was?

And thank goodness for penalties at perfect times...against them. I'll not complain about refs the rest of the year, those penalties and opportune interceptions actually won this game. Way to go DBs. Now for some inspired plays and coaching in the red zone, please!

2nd half warm up had Hicks, Simpson, and Rock warming up as QBs.

I am officially off the Hicks Bandwagon.
He wont be the QB next year.
In the postgame interview with Coach Chad you could hear the frustration.
I hope Ben proves me wrong

Good point on the small hands, I wonder if that is actually the case.

Don't close the book on him yet. BLM made horrible decisions. I think Hick's decision making is okay, it is just technique.

He will get better. One thing I heard HCCM say that caught my attention was that he was wondering if BH's hands were wet and could not get a good grip on the ball regarding not throwing tight spirals.

Hands wet from what? Sweat? Humidity? Maybe he needs Jared Goff hand size increasing massage.

Maybe sweat but not sure. He said it in the post game press conference if you would like to listen to the actual comment.

There's no option but to be on his band wagon this year.
