Re: 2-1
Every single one of us predicted that we'd be 2-1 through the first three games. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: 2-1
There was zero reason to not expect us to be 2-1 playing NTSU and a 1-AA team. Peruna is my mascot!
Re: 2-1Zero %?
We had never won in Denton and embarrassed ourselves against last 2 FCS teams. I didn't think 2-1 was a sure thing. Maybe probable yes. I'm not dissatisfied with our progression but then again I know this isn't a bowl team in 2016. If we make a bowl then Chad Morris is a miracle worker playing now 27 True/Medical freshmen redshirts or first year transfers and with injuries to starting QB and RB. Re: 2-1happy that we're seeing potential and some progress but come on... UNT is one of the worst FBS teams and Liberty is a middle of the road FCS team. 2-1 was completely expected. What was unexpected however was having Liberty stick with us till the end.
Re: 2-1Ah yes. How well I remember all of our expectations coming true in the last several years. The fact is that for once in a very long time our expectations came true.

Re: 2-12-1 is good. Still think we are on track for 3 wins, but most people's sunshine win expectations should have come down now that they've seen this team play 3 games. Can't blame people for wishing we would've been able to improve a little faster.
Re: 2-1I'm not sure we are a 'bad' as the scores indicate. Mistakes have come too often and at the wrong times. May I remind everyone the points of two end zone interceptions and a missed field goal added to 29 points would have been a genuine blowout. Baylor was a tie until SMU made glaring mistakes. And the same is true with the UNT game. Additionally, I think the injury to Matt Davis certainly changed things as for any bowl chances. Can a freshman qb who hasn't had the opportunity to play at such a fast pace learn quick enough to take SMU to a bowl? That is a tall order. The second question belongs to the offensive line. Can they pick up the oncoming onslaught they are sure to experience? And third, can the defense put more pressure on the opposing qb? I am also concerned about depth at most all positions. We don't need any other injuries and remaining fresh deep in the game has again become a problem. Whatever happens everyone has seen the improvement over last year. It's going to be interesting.
Re: 2-1
Good post. As far as the score goes remember the that the teams we have plated against have made dome mistakes to stop them from scoring more too. Like when the ball hit the guts knee to stop him from scoring a touchdown at Baylor and when the Liberty player was called for being to far down the fields when Liberty scored a touchdown to put them ahead late in the 4th quarter. All on all it about evened out. #HammerDown
Re: 2-1Who predicted having 4 red zone ints into the endzone? NCAA record for a 2 game period? Hmmm, mayvbe 2-1 does not look so bad.

Re: 2-1
I think it is 5. 1 from Davis and 4 from Hicks. Plus a pick 6. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: 2-1Pony I am so with you on that. Don't care if it is telegraphed. Run a sweep, run a trap, run the fridge, run the statue of liberty, the squiggly schmoo , he pony express option or anything - but for goodness sakes run inside the ten. Every dang time.
We can throw it next year when we have QB's to choose from.
