Only if a bunch of TCU fans start buying up the remaining tickets. That's probably asking too much though.

The hope is that some first responders show up to support the fallen officers and Chief Brown, since the promotion is up to four free tickets per responder/family.

TCU doesn't travel, even to Dallas + for some reason a lot of fans think this is the worst team they've ever seen, based on post-Liberty game reactions.

We didn't sell out the last two times they played at Ford and the 2012 game was on Parents Weekend too. The excuses were rain in 2012 and post-JJ malaise in 2014.

The rain game was bad. The crowd for post-JJ wasn't horrible all things considered, but not fantastic.
2010 shows what can happen if people are excited about the on field product. They are not right now.

Friday Nite and/or 11 a.m. Kickoffs are buzz-kill for cross- Metro-plex road trips. But actually I think last time we played on Friday Nite was an excellent crowd.

That last friday game against TCU in '10 was the rowdiest crowd i've seen at Ford (at least in the first 3 quarters). It was also easily 80% red much to the frogs disagreement

Yes, it is the only time I have ever seen a buzz in the city leading up to the game in recent memory and that crowd was awesome and very pro-SMU.
