D has quit. Completely demoralized because O is really weak. Hicks is not the answer at QB, Too many missed opportunities because he is just not very accurate with his throws

You have one line that can play and the other team has 2-3 lines of depth that are equal or better than your one line....no amount of desire is going to overcome that unless they have none.

It's depth.

Sad we have unsocial teams as part of the game. That has hurt us.

I really want to drink the Kool-Aid and think our team is getting better, I just don't see it. I hope I'm wrong.

Had I let up for a second when I was an athlete at SMU, my coach would have been in my grill for days. I don't see that passion in this team/coaching staff.

Also not saying Hicks is great, but losing Natour is huge. We have zero depth at OL and the game changed significantly after that.

We went form a Sr Qb to a Fr Qb. And we just don't have enough overall talent to keep up with better teams. We are better overall but have huge gaps to close.

How do you give up 30+ points in your house to the team down the street?

I would be questioning the 3 offensive points more than the 33 given up by the defense.

Yep. Pretty much. Real easy to "quit" when your legs stop moving as fast because you've been facing a rotation of fresh guys all night

As expected with a team with talent and depth against a team without talent and depth. We just nee more talent. And we are young and need more talent and experience. I can't get too worried about this team. We are better just need more talent and experience.

Sorry, that's true. Should have asked, "How do you LOSE by 30+ points in your house to the team down the street?.

It's sad that we have played two rivals in extreme down years, have a defense that is playing miles better than we thought they would, are in need of statement wins, and we are stuck with a freshman QB who can't seem to make basic throws or move this offense consistently, even with little pressure. Can't believe we don't have a next-one-up. June's final dagger.

You focus on the one thing you can control, which is how hard you train. Hit the gym more. Run another 5 miles on Sunday. Dunno, but if you have the drive, you figure it out.
