Good commentary from the guy who spent an entire home game for his team posting on a completely unrelated fan board.

is Tulsa really good or has Houston simply been exposed? Guess we will find out next week. Plenty of inconsistency in college football. Don't know what you are going to get from one week to the next. Alabama is the one constant...at least so far.

Tulsa is pretty good and we hung with them largely because they almost set a school record for penalties and dropped sure interceptions that other teams have caught.

If those penalties weren't called it woulf have given their team an unfair advantage and although yes the game may have been different, I never buy the whole "oh they had too many penalties" or the "man if we had caught those passed we wouldve won". SMU almost beat Tulsa and that's pretty much it. Let's see who plays better next sat vs the coogies.

Looks like things are already winding down in Houston. Herman needed to lose so he could bolt for a bigger job sooner. I bet Ed Oliver wishes he'd gone elsewhere now

Big Ed is getting plenty of pub and on the #11 ranked team with his brother. Maybe the SMU OL can stop him.
