we did that years ago and drew close to 35k at the Cotton Bowl during the fair, but I'd prefer to keep that game home/home

Why give up home field advantage. We cannot get fans to go 300 yards from the Blvd to Ford. You will not get them to the CB. We would be handing TCU home field advantage every year.

Losing programs tend to have problems drawing up crowds.

No. I was there, and it was a beating getting in and out of the game through the Fair crowd.

For what it's worth, Air Force had loads of recruits on the sideline. I would guess close to 100.
