give the kid credit; the OL didn't give him much time today (compared to how they dominated Houston's DL) but Hicks sucked it up and made enough plays to help his team win this game. This might be the only year he starts at QB for SMU, but he is improving and has come a long way from that 1st start where he looked like a deer in headlights

Love me some Opies. I was down that way three weeks ago with college buddies. I took them Salt Lick on this trip. They love Opies but they had never been to Salt Lick. They were very pleased

We need to enjoy our wins, regardless of how we achieve them! The title of this thread is horrible and disrespectful to a man who is turning our program around. How about something like, despite what I consider horrible play calling and horrible players on our team, we managed to WIN! The title could be Chad Morris is a better coach than I am.

Should we start Ke'mon or Colbert at QB-both would be a disaster. Hicks development is the only thing that has given this team a chance
