Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUpending this team's 2nd half performance...how many more days until basketball season opens?
Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUTheir QB is faster back peddalling than our linebackers and safeties are at full speed forward...
Restore the 80s Glory!
Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUAnybody remember the last time we overcame a 31 point deficit?
Peruna is my mascot!
Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMU

I wondered what crowd he was referring to! He was looking out on the VArd. I was actually picking on the "wind in our sails" part of his comment... I have not much a problem with our crowd per se.. Beat the hell out of anybody!

Thankfully, I do believe this cioaching staff and team is more resilient and committed than our fans[/quote] CP- while I can understand you comments, I have been a die-hard fan for over 70 yrs and with little exception I have been left with great disappointment at the end of each season. I have looked forward to the start of the season each year with great hopes only to get kicked in the balls by a team that has typically underperformed. Finally one starts to lose hope and confidence that things will ever change.
Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUWhat in the hell was that KO. Jesus.. ST is a complete train wreck

Unfortunately, that is where "The 1500" phrase came from...we just don't have enough die hards. I get that we are a small school with a limited number of local living alumni and it kills us to not have large numbers of t-shirt fans like the big public schools have. The 1500 will always be there and will never quit believing. If I still lived in Dallas, I would be among them!

Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUcp- on a totally different topic- are you familiar with a clothing store in Charleston by the name of Ben Silver? I used to buy a lot of ties and clothes from them. In fact they used to have some really nice SMU cuff links.
Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUThis is pathetic. I'm out. Later.

Re: OFFICIAL GAME 9 THREAD: MEMPHIS vs. SMUcan't help but wonder if blowout losses like this will cost us some recruits.
