4-4, going in to this game is more than anyone expected..
And then throw in all the injuries.. SMU'S is way ahead of expectations. This game is a hiccup

cp- on a totally different topic- are you familiar with a clothing store in Charleston by the name of Ben Silver? I used to buy a lot of ties and clothes from them. In fact they used to have some really nice SMU cuff links.

downtown on King? nice store, but I don't live there any more and stopped shopping downtown once my town (Mt Pleasant) grew up and offered more local options. When we moved to Mt Pleasant in 1993, population was 32k and we had to go to Charleston to shop, but when we moved in September, Mt P had grown to over 80k. I think Hurricane Hugo drew a lot of attention to Charleston

everyone should brace themselves for an ugly finish to this season. We play the best teams in the AAC at home and face a tough road game at ECU. Just hope our guys are more competitive than they were today but any additional wins are pure gravy at this point

Not sure I can agree. This game, along with JJ's disaster at Navy in the N'oreaster, last year's loss at Memphis...oh there are just too many to count. Difference is that after 2 wins, we all had higher expectations for today. I thought we would at least be competitive. Hope we can compete next week

I'm so tired of fan entitlement-talk...every athlete in every other NCAA sport somehow finds the will to be competitive and play their best with half-full stands. Football players need to grow a sack and find a will inside themselves not to be embarrassed by losing by 50+ at home to a bottom of the division team in front of family and friends. Game prep was clearly not good...came out lethagic like Temple and were bad before we got tired.
