1st year coach, is that correct?
Handled Tulane just fine, correct?
It can be done, but better results needed.

don't discount home vs road results. I suspect we would have handled Tulane easily at Ford. UCF plays pretty well at their place and they have had plenty of talented guys on their roster. Hard to account for that last year O'Leary had there

I think UCF has better overall talent to work with than SMU. I believe SMU will be fine in the long run.

I will agree with the 1st sentence of that post and will continue to hope your closing comment is true. Hope is all we've had to work with for 28 years now and while the program has teased us on occasion, we still get beat down on a pretty regular basis.

UCF sits at 5-4. There are 6 AAC teams that have already become bowl eligible (we have 7 spots) so UCF is the most likely 7th representative from our conference. For those who aren't aware, UCF has gone back and forth with Ohio State as the school with the highest undergraduate enrollment of any school in the country. Talk about a program with enormous potential...UCF and USF are right up there at the top of the list in our conference and if the AAC stays together, will be major factors in improving the football reputation of this conference.

I agree about USF and UCF. Always thought, and still do that they should be the prime Big 12 expansion candidates if the Big 12 ever really wants to expand.
