PonyFans, like all fans, have short memories. 4 wins was the general expectation BEFORE losing our QB (coincidentally also our highest recruited player), a starter and emerging star RB, our best OL (and left tackle to boot). Plus we lost our starting RT for the game and our staring C (and Remington Trophy watch list) for part of this game.
Not making excuses. Worst possible time to get blown out. Just a reality check that the team is performing about to expectation.

I think the prediction label was more of an expectation. I think what is being said is that SMU has reached the 4 win expectation and anything abouve that would be icing on the cake. Now that is not to say that on a game to game basis each game should be looked at for improvements but one game is not a season.
If I told you that we would beat Houston as one of our wins and that our defense would be as good as it has been, would any of you still have said only predict one or two conference wins? Give me a break. If we lose vs ECU or vs USF, we have under-performed. Tulsa and Memphis were not as good as we thought they'd be. Neither was Temple.
