Our special teams are atrocious

I wonder if it has something to do with having an ST coach as more of a "consultant". The guy we "hired" came highly decorated but he couldn't be hired as a gameday on the field coach or something like that right? Am I getting that wrong?

Yes, he is not allowed to coach. He is special teams consultant. Guessing this will change in 2017.

I definitely agree it is a valid question and like smusic said I bet it changes one way or another next year.

Speaking of special teams...somebody needs to get a handle on our kicker, Josh Williams. The guy acts like a giant infant most games. For instance...last game they decided to punt and the kid threw a fit. Slammed his helmet on the bench and then threw it at practice net. I understand being passionate but this guy isnt des bryant...he's the freaking kicker. We've actually starting watching him stalk around as amusement during timeouts. But seriously...you can't be throwing temper tantrums as the kicker...and not exactly a very good one.

I agree with you 100%...who does this guy think he is? Start making the easy field goals and I will start to maybe understand the antics.
