SMU Needs a Special Promotional Ticket Plan

I agree with those who say that several years of winning just might change the culture at SMU, but today we just don't have enough students and living alumni who care. Just hope it happens in my lifetime because it will probably take at least 5 years of contending for championships and competing at a top 25 level to attract more sports minded students and engaged alumni. This is Dallas, so 5 years of that level of play will bring out the band waggoners...not unlike what TCU has accomplished

Anyone notice the tickets being handed out on the boulevard against Memphis? Couple guys at my spot grabbed one and used them to stop in the game for a bit. This should be the norm for a couple years. They must have had a stack of 800 tickets they were passing out. Get 5 people doing that and tell blvders they can sit anywhere outside the 10's (don't want to tick off season ticket holders).
