Hopefully SMU will publicize it big time because it is a great thing especially with what is going on at that heathen school an hour and a half south on 35.

If I see that inane there is no such thing as a lesser person commercial this weekend...they need to have spots ready that are directly related to this event and the teams participation. It isn't just for the message, which is outstanding by itself. It isn't just to highlight that a school is actually doing this, which is really ground breaking. It's too highlight that the team played a big part...to let people see them and let them make it cool.

Wanted to add a link to a good promo about this weekends Teal Game to promote Awareness so I looked it up on google...and all but one of the resulting hits are for our Title IX hearing from several years ago (amongst over 1/2 of all major colleges were investigated) or from past incidents on campus. How pathetic is our media department that we can't even be bothered to put together a package accentuating how involved the players were with this and maybe drop a few bucks to get it to the top of a google search?

I just shot Rick Hart an email at [email protected] and I recommend everyone else do the same. They need to promote this...and heck, anything to counteract the PR black hole they put themselves in last week.

It's too bad our game is on CBS Sports this week because if it was on ESPN they might actually talk about it on Gameday if we made the right contacts beforehand. It would make a great story.
