Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have BeenOh, and I called and left a message on the 14th. The return call came on the 15th. Should've just paid the 15 instead of following prez assoc instructions
Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have BeenCan't forget not having Bruno Fernando. This is gonna be another "what could've been year" I feel like.
Yes, this is Pony Nate from Pony Nate-tion, and yes you can debate me as much as you'd like...

Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have Been
Bruno had to reclassify to 2017...we weren't getting him in last year's class regardless. Kapita would have been nice, but given all of the eligibility questions surrounding him and the APR issues we're digging ourselves out of, I can see why we backed off. 2005 PonyFans.com Rookie of the Year Award Recipient
Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have BeenTed Kapita updating paperwork needed to travel outside U.S., spokesman says
9:25 PM ET RALEIGH, N.C. -- North Carolina State freshman Ted Kapita won't travel with the team for this week's Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. In a text message to The Associated Press, athletics spokesman Fred Demarest said the 6-foot-8 native of the Democratic Republic of Congo was "in the process of updating paperwork" required for him to travel outside the United States. He will rejoin the team for the Nov. 26 home game against Loyola (Chicago). Kapita missed the opener while the NCAA reviewed his amateur eligibility status. He was cleared for Sunday's win against St. Francis Brooklyn, scoring 17 points on 7-for-8 shooting with eight rebounds. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have BeenAll of the thank God Larry is gone so we don't have to worry about APR and risky athletes makes me laugh. When Larry signed our 1st ever McDonalds all American Keith Frazier and then Mudiay and then Kapita everyone creamed their pants.
It's also funny how our APR problems this year seemingly got solved by Larry leaving when absolutely nothing has changed. Markus still didn't graduate. I like Coach Jankovich and I am hopeful for the future, but don't be stupid.
Re: Ted Kapita: What Could Have BeenWe are safe for now, but our score is at the lowest point it can be without sacrificing eligibility. While Larry Brown did not land us any APR penalties, that is the direction we were headed and really couldn't afford to take on Kapita, Bruno, etc. I say this as a huge Larry Brown and someone who was very disapponted when he resigned.
