SMU might be Top 25 in RPI by the end of the Nite if this keeps up

3 sacks for UH on Lamar Jackson, 0 on SMU Statue Ben Hicks

looks like SMU very well could have cost the poor Coogs a P5 Bowl

Actually, the loss to SMU really did not change much in terms of New Year's 6 Bowl. It may have cost them the playoffs, but if they had beaten Navy with all else being equal they would win the division, likely win the conference and as a result be the highest ranked group of 5 team. As it stands they will have to settle for one of the best American bowls since New Year's 6 eligibility for Group of 5 teams is contingent on winning their respective conference.

Hate the Coogs of course but it is so funny to see those American-leaving posers Louisville get absolutely drilled.

It's not like Louisville came in taking Houston lightly...especially after not being able to handle the Cougs in Louisville last year. This game helps the AAC but probably hurts Clemson

Correct Navy would have to lose again but if UH had ended up 12-1 with victories over OU, Louisville and an AAC Championship they would have been in a P5 Bowl

Now we need to pump up Herman again as a GENIUS, MASTERMIND a FOOTBALL SAVANT so he's gone in December

Give Houston a ton of credit...they are tough at home and that's a great crowd for a Thursday night. Of course, the announcers had to take their dig when they said crowd was loud "but shouldn't bother Louisville because it's not like Death Valley at Clemson". Of course that's true, but still hurts to always have our conference belittled because our teams don't pack 60-80,000 seat stadiums

4 sacks

would have been a 5th except for a ridiculous tackle by Louisville RT

I would rather have Herman stay and raise the level of the conference. I think Chad Morris has us on track to be able to compete consistently with Houston and other top programs.

Louisville has now surrendered 8 sacks-must have stolen Van Malone's playbook on rushing mobile QB

Congrats on win over Pitt in hoops! Watched first part of this game at the Barley House but no Ponies were there watching hoops. Studying for tests or alums mostly living in Uptown? Beat USF!
