If any of you who follow the Buckeyes and the Big 10 can chime in here, please do, but on paper he looks like an ideal candidate. Coordinator at both Nebraska and Ohio State plus HS Head Coaching experience in the DFW area at RL Turner in Carrolton and Mansfield Summit. Probably a guy UH would pursue as well especially given their good fortune last time they hired an Ohio State OC. http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports ... 45373.html

Not much in the personality department. Tight with Stoops and they are somewhat alike. Maybe he has loosened up and is now a good recruiter. Intense. Good guy.

Definitely one to keep an eye on. I do feel like having a strong Texas connection is important.

Ohio State's offense has not been as good with Beck as it was with Herman.

very true and IMO the talent level this year is as good or better than when Herman was there.

He could be as boring as a tree stump and I'd be elated if he comes here and wins. For all of Chad's personality he was a poor game day coach. Beck isn't an awful choice at all.
Back off Warchild seriously.

If he led RLTurner to the playoffs that says something-seriously

Not a big Butteye fan but did see some of their game against a horrible Michigan State team. Their offense looked pathetic loaded with 4 & 5 star guys.
