Re: TCU Has Same Problem as SMUtycoon you are a basketball fool. One bad loss. Boise. Get a grip and try being a fan.
Re: TCU Has Same Problem as SMUI'm just speaking the truth about attendance.
I've been been a season ticket holder for a long time when 500 cared to show up. Did you drive to Garland and hear conversations across the court? I may be a fool for being an SMU fan, but I know basketball and I know SMU fans. We roll out 15 wins this year and we'll be back to 2,000 attendance next season. I hope we can turn it around. The team from the first three games needs to show up. Our D is non existent, we have no facilitator and no leaders. This team had a swagger and toughness last three years, Delaware and Cal St owned us from the jump. #NewLobCity
Re: TCU Has Same Problem as SMUYes I drove to Garland, and to Moody for the 25 yrs prior to that.
We had bad losses with LB also, and their were days - particularly around the holidays that were less attended. Just chill out and be a fan, and try not to be so dramatic. We are not the same without Nic but everybody knows that. Still huge fun.
Re: TCU Has Same Problem as SMU
^^^^^ Succinct. Might have been ten years ago. I recall a note by an SMU fan who I thought had good insights to the effect that the inner circle at TCU were concerned about attendance which even then was better than ours. I think that poster is still on the board after several name changes but he has not added t this thread. Unfortunately it shows the road ahead SMU faces.
