It's been fun watching Tacko go from unbelievably uncoordinated, coke-bottle-glasses-wearing, I'm-only-here-because-of-my-size type player to who he is this season. He's become a really nice player.

That was just ridiculous. I don't know how any coach can put that kid back on the court.

in former conference mate news, a once competitive UTEP (now 2-8) lost in their Sun Bowl Tournament to 2-11 Maryland-Eastern Shore 71-66. Conference shuffling has really hurt that program

Barefield is still coming off the bench for Utah. Shot 11-of-15 from the field, 5-of-7 from deep. He did have five TOs though. And Utah lost by three.
