Baylor contacted Temple AD to ask permission to speak with Rhule within 24 hours of his acceptance of job. Its funny to listen to Baylor fans who pretend he wasn't their 5th choice

From an X's and O's perspective it's a great hire he's a great coach that won at Temple of all places. If he surrounds himself with a staff of Texans that can recruit the region he has a chance to be successful. Hiring the cedar hill coach is a great start. I'm surprised he made a career defining move with so little due dilligence. He probably could have gotten a big ten or acc job in a year or two.
