We've all missed on evaluations @ times. I hope I'm wrong on Wilson, but I just didn't see the skill level required to compete successfully @ this level. Not saying he can't develop, but he's not the caliber of player I would expect SMU to recruit @ this time.

I don't have any problem w people saying they think a kid is overwhelmed or not as good as advertised. That's the nature of the beast, and I miss all the time. That said, sweeping statements that a kid isn't D1, despite having a bunch of D1 offers and solid international creds, seems silly. Especially, based off the limited time we saw the kid play, not to mention he would have started on like 60% of the teams we've played so far

Do we know for sure Tom and Fro will land somewhere? If not I believe we have a problem... granted I am not knowledgable with transfer ins and outs

Hoop - you are usually correct, but if you are really saying Wilson would start on 60 pct of teams we have played you are just wrong. He showed nothing that would yield that opinion.

Who have we played that he definitively wouldn"t get legit burn? Michigan, Pitt, USC, TCU, possibly Memphis, possibly Boise. We recruited both of Stanford's backcourt in Pickens and Sanders and those dudes are far from world beaters. Everyone else, he'd get double digit minutes.
