Cal Vincent...What am I missing

QB out of San Angelo w/ 0 D1 offers so far as I can tell (currently committed to DII Angelo State). He's 6'1" (so not tall by any stretch, but tall enough to play well in the AAC), pretty big, can run, is mobile and threw for 42 tds and 2 picks this year.

When I saw this, I assumed it was all bubble screens and quick throws, but when you watch his film he really gets the ball down the field accurately w/ an above average arm. His film isn't Jacob Eason from last year, but he looks like a solid G5 prospect. Granted, a lot of his receivers run pretty open and his O-line is very good (at least on film) so he has a while to make a throw, but even with that in mind you would think he would get better looks from D1 programs.

What am I missing?

I've always had a theory that you can get key players from West Texas, but not volume.

On a side note, do we think Austin Upshaw stays at QB or will he likely be moved?
