Temple will be "upper division" of AAC by season's end. I expect them and to compete with Memphis & UCF for 4-5-6 seeds in AAC Tourney

I think we'll finish about 5th. We really need next year's recruits badly.

If we are regular season conference champs we will basically have an automatic bid because it will take at least 14-4 or 15-3 in conference play to win or share the regular season title over Cincy this year. But you're correct that it doesn't give you an automatic bid into the tourney.

You may have misworded, but everyone makes the conference tourney. The league is looking more and more like a 2 bid league this year, unless UH really gets rolling or someone unexpected wins the conference tourney.
