No worries, the post I responded to was a reference to a joke from a local radio station.

C. Aimee, M. Scott, B. Carlisle and M. McNeill are the only younger players who left. As for the rest, it is hard to distinguish between people who "left" and people who "were never" coming back. - Although McCarty could have come back for a 5th year, SMU honored him on Senior Day along with a number of other players (see below) and people who Scouted around knew he had decided to move on. Let's just say the graduation rate for the upperclassmen who left is impressive. Some might try to transfer, but I think most of them are done playing football. BET - if any of them left because they were "afraid" of a drug test, I'll donate an extra $100 to the Mustang Club. - Colbert left for obvious reasons and his decision to leave shouldn't surprise anyone. - We seem to have a lot less walk-ons on the roster than in the past. http://smumustangs.com/news/2016/11/21/ ... espnu.aspx •Saturday marks the final home game on the Hilltop for 17 seniors: Terry Ayeni, Chauncey Briggs, Christian Burks, Matt Davis, Dylan Dickman, Travis Fister, Jeremiah Gaines, Deon Green, Daniel McCarty, Darrion Millines, Zelt Minor, Jackson Mitchell, Jarvis Pruitt, Horace Richardson, Jerry Saena, Sean Tuohy, Jr. and Jeremy White.
Thanks!

If those are the seven, and those are the reasons, then her story was absurdly botched...almost suspiciously. I'd threaten her press privileges.

Just last week, because of a mistake by a White House "pool' reporter, 3,000 other reporters sent out "fake news" -> that Trump had removed the bust of MLK from the Oval Office. (Trump does enough strange stuff that there is no need to make up new stuff) Mistakes happen. How people deal with mistakes says a lot about them. She botched the report, admitted it, and even had a call with Morris to apologize. Assuming it is not a continuing problem, I think she will be fine.

Apparently she met with Chad to apologize in person.

That does not change the public perception from her tweet.

Not good enough in my mind if I am one of the 7 who did not quit due to the testing, but at least something was said. Thanks.

An interesting way of saying " I pooped myself while reporting this story...but part of it still COULD be true."
Be interested to hear the legal advice she has received in the last 72 hours.

Since she didn't name a single player, any lawsuit would be futile. Bottom line: she messed up, she admitted it, and she has apologized. Time to move on.
