yep

Agreed and replies to the original post reflect that. Title of the thread should read "calling all students and Red Seaters".

About 10 minutes to go they turn off all the TV's, stop selling beer, and pick up all the food. They have a staff that starts asking people if they are done and picks up all the plates. This seems to work well

Perfect.

I think most on here would be happy to contribute funds or tickets for students getting up there to support their fellow students. This won't/can't happen for Temple. This should/can happen for Tulsa.

This is a BIG GAME.

Most on here lol.

Red seaters need to stop their grab assing in the Miller Club and get to their seats before the team comes out. Tired of seeing the red seats and student sections more than half empty at tip off. Yes I am whining but boy it really tees me off.

7k a duce they can do what they want when they want.

The students have been awful this entire year. Not one game has been full for whatever reason but something needs to change. Right now.

Next game happens to be Cincy. If the student sections aren't full 15 min before tip for that one, then they never will.

Looks like we are in violent agreement.

No one has commented on my point related to the Larry Brown impact.

Students suck --- probably always here.

Cant imagine how great Moody would be if we had this level of success and hype back in late 80's when I was student.

WE ALL SHOULD BANG LOUD ON LEADERSHIP DOWN THERE TO TRY AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!

Solution: each red seater must drive 4 students up to Tulsa, get there early, and stay the entire game.

I think the students (except for Christmas break) have been much much better than the season ticket holders. What is the average age of SMU basketball season ticket holders? Either our fans age very poorly or its approaching about 62 years old. I feel like a kid around our season ticket holders. Of course, that probably has a lot to do with seat licensing-which won't change either.

ill admit to being surprised our students were not there on time - a I thought a late start would create a bit more "buzz". This is not an excuse - but I think this generation is really picky about if a game is worth it - and they just don't think ECU was worth much effort. Hope they are learning to be better fans but not sure they are actually.

One other comment - did someone shut down the sound system? I cant recall when the band/loud recorded music ratio was this off. Sometimes the crowd needs some tunes to get rocking when we are blowing out an opponent. If the grey hairs don't like it, all the better.
