Have you looked to see how many games other conference teams have against teams coming off byes?

I'd say SMU will be preseason favorite in only 5 games on the schedule especially since UCF (the closest program to us) never really bottomed out, and has had consistently good recruiting:

If we are good enough to beat TCU, we will be 5-0 early in the season with some real blowouts, which will draw attention our way. Getting ranked is when Dallas starts to actually notice.
