Have you looked to see how many games other conference teams have against teams coming off byes?

You know our home schedule is awful when the ticket reps are pumping Uconn as a home game...

I'd say SMU will be preseason favorite in only 5 games on the schedule especially since UCF (the closest program to us) never really bottomed out, and has had consistently good recruiting:
Sagarin:
29. Tulsa 32 South Florida* 43 Temple* 49. TCU 50. Memphis 55. (non-conference) Arkansas St 56. Houston 61. Navy 86 Central Florida 92. SMU 109. Tulane 117 Cincinnati 118 East Carolina* 154 Connecticut
*Not on 2017 Schedule

Arky St. is no gimmie. I expect that to be a good game. Unfortunately.

Racking up wins but I doubt we'll rack up much in attendance with those foes.

An upset of TCU will get us ranked, and will bring crowds.

Everything single team above SMU (plus UNT) went to a Bowl game last year.

Everyone needs to quit obsessing with the schedule and attendance and celebrate the fact that this is going to be a breakthrough year! It really is, so get excited!

If we are good enough to beat TCU, we will be 5-0 early in the season with some real blowouts, which will draw attention our way. Getting ranked is when Dallas starts to actually notice.
