It is not knit picking, it is a suggestion. I think there is a flaw in the system. I am sure they are trying out new things.

Here is a perfect example, SMU sends out in email in December saying that you can reserve student tickets for either the UCONN or the Houston game (which are over a month away). All you had to do was send in your email and they would send you a ticket. How many kids do you think got those and didn't show up? Incentivize getting there early

Good luck getting people out. Not to be a broken record, but you guys have no idea how good you have it. Get loud, drink early, and get on TV!

Honestly, this should be the student policy for every game and once tip-off the red seats should also be filled by other season ticket holders that are at the game. Attendance and crowd enthusiasm have been much lower this year than the past couple....its starting to feel like a football game at times and that's depressing.

As much as I want a full bowl, messing with the red seats is messing with a lot of money.

Red seats and student section are two entirely different animals. If you want to put down $10k then you can sit down in the red seats and show up as early as you wish. I'll be damned if someone gets the seat I paid for because I didnt show up on time.

The above student policy is excellent and should be implemented every game. That solves the problem in a very efficient and inoffensive manner. Was that message generated by the athletic department? It seems almost too intelligent and forward thinking to come from them.
