Dont get me wrong, I love Moody and it can be a great place to watch a college basketball game, but the lack of a practice court is seriously hurting the program. At least TCU has one.

We need to put more money into the football program and a larger PR department, basketball renovations would be far in the future in an ideal world. Lots of teams have horrible facilities, much worse than Moody. All basketball recruits care about is PT and location.

i understand wanting more resources for football, but to say all basketball recruits care about is PT and location is so wrong. They care about exposure & playing time, facilities and location, probably in that order. We can't offer much exposure at the moment, so to turn around your program you have to have good facilities.

The other thing is the facilities are not just a cosmetic issue. Practice time and not having to share with other sports is big.

Unless things have changed, the men's basketball team always had priority for the court at Moody. That meant, the women would often practice at the student center (and kick me off the court). The only time the men did not have the court is when the women had a game. How is that a problem? I would guess the women would also have to practice at the practice facility.

Dude, you can't be serious with that statement? Fball has Ford, Moody is 50 yrs old.
