This is definitely going to be a tough, and a lot more nerve wrecking after Wednesday's performance. If they were watching (sure they were), they are going to be embolden that 4 win team came into our house and almost knocked us off. However, maybe if the guys see how close the match-up is from statistical point of view, they will go out there loose and take Htowndown like they did at Moody (85-64), and forget about our ranking. If they can do that then this will be a great win against a tough opponent on the road. They can do it just please no more unforced turnovers!

We will be up for this game unlike Tulane, so I'm not worried at all about carry over. We dominated Coog high at Moody and it was never close. We were up 17 at half. We are the better team and know it, just have to play our game. UH has all sorts of confidence right now, got to take out their fair weather fans early

The biggest key to this game is our perimeter defense. We can't let their guards get hot as they can pour in a ton of buckets....will make Tulane game look low-scoring in comparison. I know Coach Jank is protecting our interior players from fouling early, but I say we don't double, play their interior players a bit softer (but make sure we box-out and not give up second chance points) and give up a few points in the paint if we have to.

Our Offense will come out better and the team won't be as sluggish overall and so it will be a tight game at half time. In the 2nd half play more aggressive in the paint and keep the pressure on their guards and we will win by 5-10. We are going to have to score in the high 70's to win. My opinion on our keys to success.

I hope jank figures out how to use the bench players (Dashawn, Wilfong, Leo). That is one thing that impressed me when he was coaching the 9-0 run last year, he actually used bench players to keep us fresh. This six man rotation sucks. Dashawn can slash to the basket and is athletic enough to throw down dunks. Just have him defend and get some fouls.

Will we need to double down low? If they have three perimeter hot shooters, isn't that because they don't have as good an inside game? Jack might start on the shooters and not double early and see how that goes. I think a bit of changing Defense with single and double coverage down low to confuse UH's big men might be effective in holding down the perimeter shooters and protecting our down low defenders. Make UH recognize and adjust on the floor.
