We may have stolen this one with Dez's improbable 3 at the end of regulation. Crowd and Bamba really fed off of each other. I believe we may have a couple of players between him and Morris. Nice win.

BTW, I was there live. Did CSTV or radio have an explanation for BHop's technical? I saw absolutely nothing to warrant it. Thought it put the nail in our coffin.

Thank you Dez - nice prayer my man..

I really didn't think SMU could pull that out. Down by 7 pts with limited time and not being able to score much in the 2nd half. I think Rice went on a 10-0 run to start the 2nd.

The ref said "unsportsmanlike conduct, elbow in the back, I'm not talking to anyone about it" and walked to the other side. Pretty dumb call at that point. Why not just call a foul? I didn't see anything. Morris's offensive call was pretty suspect as well.

Roberts off the bench and Pearson grabbed some key rebounds. I hope the Hop/Fall connection gets better as the season progesses. Diid anyone see that Hop move through the lane with the dish? Good stuff.

Nice 1st half, terrible 2nd half, nice OT. Rice has a nice quick PG. - he had a ton of assists.

The students were there but they just sit on their hands. But good to see the proud 1500 get into it after the Fall spin jam and OT.

It was dumb. It's not often that Hopkins wants to go after a ref like that to argue a call, but he had to be restrained.

best basketball game I have been to at SMU period, better than Tech a couple years ago...I"ll put this one up there with the TCU football game from last year....this one was one of those I'm so used to us squandering, I'm glad I stayed to watch the end, the crowd getting into it was something I've really never seen before (atleast that much). Pearson with some MAN-sized rebounds down the stretch, Roberts playing his best game I've ever seen, hitting 3's like crazy, Dez hitting that flat fadeaway 3 to put it into OT from a few feet beyond hte arc, and what else can you say about Bamba??? Love that kid

Isn't unfortunate this is happening with Brian Hopkins as a senior and graduating after this year?
I miss Troy Matthews.
