What a fun group

[The Falcon]

The last 4 years have been the most fun I have had in watching SMU bball, and
I have been watching the Mustangs since 1968. I think the most fun I ever had was
the year we were NIT runnerup because of selfish reasons. We got to see three extra
games at a sold out Moody against quality teams and then went to the Garden where
we beat Clemson and should have beaten Minnesota for the crown. Great fun.

There is also no doubt that this may be the best team we have had for many years
because of the cohesiveness, the never-quit attitude, and the maturity and confidence
to make comebacks. Our 6 players are exceptionally gifted, athletic, and smart. I love
the 5 guard look which is a matchup nightmare for most of our opponents and our defense
is stifling. Almost forgot to mention our coach is amazing by making great moves and
he is gifted as a communicator. He is also very modest and has a great sense of humor.
