VCU and Wich St would be sick to add. Why not stop at St Louis and just add 3. Not like a tourny cant be designed for it and we are already playing an odd number of teams.

I don't see Dayton getting into our conference. They are too close to Cincinnati and would encroach on their recruiting ground. They don't add any recruiting grounds or new viewership to our conference that Cincinnati doesn't already add. Cincinnati is a major power in our conference that we don't want to [deleted] off by adding a team right next to them. VCU would be interesting since its a new area and they've made the tourney the past 6 years.

Cinci isn't going anywhere unless a P5 comes calling and in that case, they're bolting regardless of who's in the AAC. I think I'd look at Rhode Island over Dayton though. I think they could do well in the American and they always have a solid OOC schedule. Would help the conference's collective RPI.
