2 from cougar high on first team. Only Semi on first team. Ben, Sterling, Shake all on second team.
That's really nice for our guys and I understand most of the logic. If it were scored like cross country we'd win. I definitely don't get Gary Clark not being on that list and I'd rate him well ahead of Caupain this year. Caupain is a great point guard who did the little things but missed on some pretty big ones this year. Washington is a bit flawed defensively so you could make the argument for swapping one of our second team seniors for him....but no biggie.

Congrats to Semi, Ben, Shake and Sterling......they should have all been first team selections along with Caupain. PPG play too big a role in these selections. We should use this as motivation to decimate everyone we play in the AAC Tourney.

Maybe I'm biased but the only player I would take above of Gary Clark in this conference is Semi Ojeleye. We got screwed and continue to get screwed because we were so open about wanting to leave this conference.

I am not saying you did not get screwed, but I question your logic as to the reason. Houston was just as open, if not more open, about wanting to leave and they got 2 on the 1st team.

I don't think trying to leave the conference had anything to do with the glaring omission, just stupidity. After all, the only schools that didn't try to leave the American for the Big XII were Tulsa, Navy, and Temple.

I think we pretty much agree here or were at least surprised at the lack of Cincy guys and the choices made. Just curious: how would you have placed your guys on the two teams?

No doubt Cincinnati got snubbed, but doubt that's the reason. Houston grabbed two first team spots...

Is Harry Froling eligible for Rookie of the year?
He had the greatest impact on any team in the league when he chose to quit.

KenPom's 1st Team was:
Semi Rob Gray Dedric Lawson Kyle Washington Sterling

...and I'd take Ben Moore any day of the week over Gary Clark-although he should have been on minimum the 2nd team. I think Ben got Clark's spot of the 2nd team

I love Cam Reynolds-I hear Tulane is worried he may Graduate Transfer-he could be a key ingredient on a better team-lately he's been playing much like Semi.

I think both Sterling & Ben should be on the 1st team w/Semi.

Caupain was not the same player this year as he was the last two.
