There is the rule, but I guess the NCAA just interpreted it to mean that they would not have to play in the first game of the day at a site.
Dayton to Tulsa is a four-hour flight (740+ miles) so whoever wins Wednesday night should be at their hotel in Tulsa by early Thursday morning.
