I like the fact that 7 different guys have already scored in this one. Spreading it around and shooting better than 60%. This needs to be an easy W tonite.

I was at Moody Saturday and at the UTPA Fieldhouse tonight. Remind me not to b*tch about the paltry crowds at Moody again. It did provide an opportunity to see Coach Tubbs in action from a much closer perspective. I was impressed to see his in-game adjustments, and how he seems to [want to] will the Mustangs to do what he wants. On one possession, he was yelling at Rack to get his hands up...and Jimmy had his hands up, playing defense from the sideline with Rack, kind of like Rocky in the basement fighting the fight blow by blow while watching from afar in Rocky IV.
Color me a Coach Tubbs fan.

Rich Phillips, the other guy on the broadcast, and the stats guy.
Actually our pastor, a Perkins grad, is a big SMU fan...but had another commitment tonight.

Thanks for representing the Mustangs down in the Valley, RGV Pony.
Congrats to the Mustangs on the 'w'! Now go kick the UTEP Miners' butts in El Paso!

Nice to see we shot 82% (19 of 23) from the free throw line. That's a one on one thing between the player and the rim, so hopefully we can get that same rhythm going in other games where we really need it.

Yes, the 82 percent is great -- we need to keep that up.
And it's fantastic to see Ryan H get some points.

21 turnovers to their 12.
Like the win. Need to handle the ball better.
